reintroducing.com Blogging Receptacle

One of my pet peeves on Mac OSX was that it didn’t display the full date in the menu bar. I had a piece of software installed called iMenuCalendarClock which put a little calendar with the date on my menu bar, but I don’t think that you should have to install software just to display the date… I did a bit of poking around and found this article which tells you how to do it in a cut up but working fashion. I then took off the option for display day of week in the clock preferences, and now my date looks like this:
