After a couple of weeks off I’m happy to start playing in the Sunday league again today. As I said in a post a couple of days ago, unfortunately there is only four teams as of right now but our friendly foes, the Blue Demons, are back and we just so happen to play them today. I think we strenghtened our squad with the addition of Chris, who according to Rick is a smaller version of Amare Stoudemire, but we’ll see how that works out today. Game is at 4 PM CST so check back later tonight for the update.

Also tonight is the series I’m currently watching on TV Sunday nights, Rome. It’s a pretty good series thus far and is developing into an epic battle eventually. I look forward to seeing what comes of it.

I have been on a DVD binge-buying streak lately. All within one day, on eBay of course, I bought The Godfather Trilogy, Requiem for a Dream, Memento, Crash, Heat, Layer Cake, American History X, Criminal, and Taxi Driver. Thus far I haven’t been able to get through all of them, although I’ve seen some of those movies already and just wanted to get the DVDs. I’m sure all of the movies are really good so I look forward to seeing them all in the next couple of weeks.
