Where This Blog Will Go…
So I’ve contemplated lately about the direction of this blog and what to do with it. I’ve decided to leave it for legacy purposes for anyone that may need stuff off of here, but I’m going to pursue another blog that I think is going to be better for the community. I’ll post here when it’s done to notify everyone to start going there, but as for this blog, I’m not opposed to writing more in it, just don’t know if anyone actually reads it. When I check my stats it isn’t overwhelming by any means and I just don’t know if there is much of a point in updating this.
If you want your voice to be heard and you want me to continue writing this blog, please post in the comments below.
Just a fair word of warning: The new blog will be all AS based (source code, classes, more hands-on, etc) so let me know what you’d rather see, this or the new blog. If nobody responds then I’ll just stop posting all together and take up a new hobby, probably horse-back riding.

You know I’m not a Flash person but I just don’t want you to resort to horse-back riding.

I love horse back riding and all. But this blog has had some good entires over its time. It was also refreshing to see the blitz of entries over the last couple of months, there was a couple of real good nuggets in there.
So will the new Blog be AS2 or AS3 based or both ? Sounds interesting non-the-less. Whatever happens thanks for all the great posts in the past and best wishes no matter what direction the whole blog thing takes.

Thanks guys. The new blog would be AS2/AS3 and conversion from one to the other with the future obviously holding more towards the AS3 side.

I want to see you horse back riding on a pony wearing just leather chaps and waving a gigantic Polish flag!

Your blog’s been my favorite actionscript blog for a while, so I hope you keep it up!
