StageManager Update

Monday, July 2nd, 2007

I’ve updated the StageManager to use x and y offsets in the addClip method in case you want to offset the clips a certain amount from their alignModes.  Use the links below (in the original post) to download the updated files.  All files have been updated to reflect the changes.
Thanks to “gvozden” on the Kirupa […]

Amazon = #1

Friday, June 29th, 2007

So I made a post a while back about how awesome Amazon is and how great their customer service is.  In another show of awesomeness today, I saw on Colin Moock’s site that EAS3.0 is now shipping and it is in stock on Amazon.  I promptly called Amazon customer service as my order still showed […]

New Category

Monday, June 25th, 2007

As I start to transition into AS 3.0 work, I added a new category to reflect that.  I will be posting AS 3.0 related stuff in this and kind of segregating it from the other stuff I post just to be able to reference it more precisely.  Any of the old AS 2.0 stuff will […]

AutoFormat in CS3

Wednesday, May 23rd, 2007

I saw this post on Senocular’s blog regarding using AutoFormat in Flash CS3.  I don’t really use it as I like to space my code out my own way but I know some people who use it religiously. Interesting.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted and a lot has been happening in my life lately, but I just wanted to talk about Flash Tracer and using it with my MacBook Pro.
If you don’t know what Flash Tracer is, well, it’s a Firefox extension that allows you to see your trace output statements in […]

Saffron UML Modeler

Monday, April 30th, 2007

My main man Sam has done it again.  Just when I thought he fell off the face of the earth, he comes out with Saffron, an UML modeling tool built entirely in Flash 9/AS3 for Apollo.  It isn’t in private beta yet, but you can get the features and a screenshot to wet your appetite.

First CS3 Impression

Wednesday, April 25th, 2007

I installed CS3 on my MacBook Pro last night and really only had a chance to open up Flash as it was getting pretty late.  Let me tell you, this is freaking awesome! Universal Binaries are the best thing evar!  That’s all I have for you right now (I told you it was just a […]

New CS3 Icon Sets

Wednesday, April 25th, 2007

I haven’t used these yet, but they look pretty cool.  I’ll be honest, I kind of like the default icons and they look relatively nice in the dock, but some of these are really good.  Check them out.
Thanks Matt.
